Services
Therapy
One-on-one mental health treatment that is personalized to suit an individual's unique needs. Individual sessions focus on how the individual’s needs impact their overall functioning which can include an impact on social, relationship, and academic or occupational functioning. As a clinician, I provide individual therapy services to adolescents and adults ages 14 and up. Clients can expect an integrated approach that reflects their personal experiences, their intersectional identities, and the family and social systems they exist in.
Gender Affirming Care
As a clinician, I work with a variety of individuals who exist on the LGBTQ+ spectrum which includes gender diverse populations. I provide gender-affirming care per WPATH standards which can include assistance in exploring gender identity, connecting resources for hormone therapy, and writing letters needed to access gender-affirming surgeries.
EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is an evidence-based practice that focuses on treating present concerns that may be impacted by past experiences. Per EMDRIA, “EMDR approach believes past emotionally-charged experiences are overly influencing your present emotions, sensations, and thoughts about yourself.” This can cause ongoing negative core beliefs that impact our view of ourselves in the world. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (BLS) to help break through emotional blocks and begin to heal these negative beliefs.
Clinical Supervision
I am a South Dakota board-approved clinical supervisor for those who are on the LPC, LPC-MH, and LMFT licensure tracks. I provide individual and group supervision which focuses on clinical case consultation, documentation standards, assessment, and diagnosis.
